Unlike mass-produced décor, our work is produced in-house so we can control what matters most: color accuracy, detail, consistency, and finishing. Each order is made to order and quality-checked before it leaves the studio.
We use professional Epson printing equipment and archival materials selected for longevity—because the goal isn’t just a beautiful print today, it’s a piece that holds its depth, tone, and presence over time.
Who we are
Hi, I’m Jarrid — the photographer and in-house printer behind Sonoma Coastal Studio in Santa Rosa, California.
What began as early-morning drives chasing fog, waves, and golden light has grown into a small, family-run studio focused on one thing: turning California’s coastline, redwoods, and historic towns into artwork you’ll be proud to live with for years.
Most days you’ll find me photographing up and down Northern and Central California—then back in the studio producing each piece as gallery-quality canvas and fine art prints, made to order and finished by hand.
We’re a two-person studio by choice. My wife, Sam, is the other half of Sonoma Coastal Studio—helping with stretching, finishing, and packaging so every order arrives looking beautiful and professionally finished.
Sonoma Coastal Studio creates coastal and Northern California artwork with a calm, modern aesthetic and a focus on lasting quality—fog rolling over headlands, quiet beaches at low tide, redwood shadows, and historic streets that still carry a sense of story. Every piece begins in the field, then is crafted in-house from start to finish—so what you hang on your wall reflects the same care that went into capturing it.

Printing is where quality becomes visible. We create prints with consistent color management and a detail-first approach—so skies stay smooth, shadows stay clean, and textures don’t fall apart. Every print is inspected and reprinted if it doesn’t meet our standards.Finished by hand
From clean trimming and presentation to secure packaging, finishing is handled in-house. If you order canvas, we focus on professional craftsmanship so the final piece looks at home in a gallery setting—straight out of the box. -
Our photography is shaped by the coastline and landscapes of Northern & Central California. You’ll see locations and moods from across the region—coastal cliffs, rolling fields, misty forests, and architectural details in historic towns.
Many of our pieces come from areas like Point Reyes, the Sonoma Coast, Mendocino, Humboldt, and the greater Bay Area—places with strong character, shifting weather, and natural texture that translates beautifully into print.

Keeping production in-house allows us to maintain a steady look across pieces and sizes, take the time to get color and contrast right, offer hand-finished options that feel elevated, and package each order like it matters—because it does.
We believe luxury doesn’t have to be loud. The goal is quiet confidence: clean presentation, materials that last, and artwork that looks better the longer you live with it.
